Making the most of my half day at work and spending the afternoon on the patch. Walking through from Warrens hall to Bumble hole

Weather:- bright and sunny

Birds:- include blackcaps, (male and female), coots with 4 chicks, mute swans with female on nest, house sparrows, house martins, swifts. song thrush, 3 grey herons, mallard with 4 ducklings, chiffchaff, along with the usual suspects.

Insects:- include large red and common blue damselflies, orange tip butterflies, holly blue butterflies, speckled wood and small white butterflies.

Flowers:- include blue bells, (hybrid), buttercups, cow parslay, daisy, hawthorn blossam, honestry, wood- forget-me-not, and red clover.
